Chilanga Town has today successfully installed a 12KVA Solar Power Backup System at Game Clinic in Chilanga Ward, under the Disaster Component of the 2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
The installation consists of:
• 18 Solar Panels
• 1 x 12KVA Inverter
• 4 Batteries
This intervention addresses the long-standing power challenges at Game Clinic, one of the major healthcare service points in Chilanga Ward. With a reliable solar backup system now in place, the clinic will operate smoothly and efficiently, ensuring improved healthcare service delivery for the local community.
The Council expresses gratitude to all stakeholders who supported this development, including Chilanga Cement, who donated additional solar panels through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. Their contribution has enhanced the capacity of the project and strengthened the clinic’s power security.
This milestone reflects the continued impact of the Constituency Development Fund in delivering tangible benefits to communities and improving the quality of life for residents.
