CHILANGA TOWN COUNCIL CELEBRATES THE SUCCESS OF COMPLETION AND HANDOVER OF FOUR TRANSFORMATIONAL COMMUNITY PROJECTS FUNDED UNFER THE ENHANCED CDF

The projects officially commissioned by Chilanga Constituency Member of Parliament, Hon. Sipho Hlazo, included a a 1×3 Classroom Block at Lusaka West Day Secondary School costing K784,042.74, an Ablution Block at Sekelela Community School valued at K780,008.47, and a newly constructed 1×3 Classroom Block at St. Michaels Secondary School built at a cost of K1,028,982.15.
During the ceremony, the Member of Parliament also flagged off the rehabilitation works of the 6.2-kilometre Workmans Double Impact Road, a key road network linking Namalombwe to Kalundu Ward, aimed at improving connectivity and easing transportation challenges for residents in the area.

The commissioning ceremony, held yesterday on 11th May 2026, marked another milestone in Government’s commitment to improving access to quality education and enhancing learning infrastructure through the enhanced CDF initiative.
